Turning on email notifications for every new lead collected

Sometimes in order to respond to your leads quickly, you may want your Wonderchat bot to send out an email to notify you when a new lead is collected.

  1. To receive an email notification immediately when a new lead is collected, go to Dashboard > Edit Chatbot > Leads Collection setting and turn on the “Receive Email when new lead is collected” setting
  1. Once you have turned on the lead collection email alert, ensure that you have at least the “collect name/email” setting turned on so that your chatbot can email you when it collects these leads.
    1. If you do not have “collect name” or “collect email” turned on, you will have no information emailed to you
  1. Upon turning on this feature, you will be able to receive lead information straight into your inbox every time your chatbot collects a new lead

As shown above, I have turned on the “email leads collection” setting, which will allow the chatbot to send me an email notification everytime the lead (which is vera@wonderchat.io in this case) gets collected by the chatbot.
